WE Arsitek has completed residential projects across Medan’s premium estates and standard suburban plots alike. WW House sits in the latter category — a straightforward site where the quality had to come entirely from design and construction discipline, not from an exceptional location.

Design Challenge

Producing a house that looks designed rather than built-by-formula on a standard Medan residential plot. Every facade element had to carry its weight visually. No borrowed drama from the site — the architecture had to be self-sufficient.

Architecture Solution

The facade is composed as a series of layered planes: a projecting volume above the entrance, recessed openings that create shadow depth, and a material palette limited to two finishes. The plan is straightforward — a central circulation core flanked by living, dining, and service zones, with private floors above.

Outcome

A house that reads as deliberate and resolved from the street. Built to the approved drawings, on schedule. The client’s brief — a home that reflects the quality they saw in other WE Arsitek projects — was met.

About This Project
